Executive Director’s Corner: Aftersight

By Kim Ann Wardlow

We are in the final quarter of 2023. The year has gone quickly. Thank you to all of our 2023 Bringing Print to Life Hike sponsors and participants.

I am pleased to announce that our new name is, “Aftersight.” The shorter name takes advantage of the name recognition of Aftersight the podcast. The logo and tagline are still being finalized, so the official rollout will be in January. Another fun item to note is that we will have a sonic logo as well as the traditional visual logo thanks to our Podcast and Program Producer, Jonathan Price.

After several months of researching and looking at potential properties, we have decided that AINC is not quite ready to buy a building. We are still considering alternative places to lease, including other locations in Boulder County, like Lafayette or Louisville. Purchasing a building will be reevaluated in the future.

We will be documenting the steps we have taken toward DEIA and will be determining our next steps as we move into the final months of the year. Of course, we will continue to provide new original podcasts and our volunteer read audio editions. Enjoy a pumpkin spice treat and the beauty of autumn in Colorado!
