July: Angie and John Flynn
Parents Magazine and Pueblo Shiftain
“I started out volunteering about 4 years ago, mostly recording short PSA messages. (My office was just down the street from the AINC world headquarters.) That got me accustomed to the process and to the novelty of recording myself and so I “graduated” to a regular hour-long program. When the pandemic hit I started recording from home, which I prefer anyway because I can be on my own schedule. I enjoy volunteering because I know that there are people out there who get something of value from what I’m doing, and it’s so easy for me to provide that. It’s just talking; anybody can do that!” – John Flynn
“Not only do I love finding ways to make little improvements as I record each week; volunteering has expanded my world view and I like knowing I’m providing a needed service for others! “ – Angie
